What do you think of the post subject? I asked B for inspiration and he was very proud of choosing 'idea-list' - which said out loud is idealist ;p I like it too! So welcome to - strictly speaking the second, but we shall say for the sake of argument - my first weekly round up of projects I desperately want to make sooner or later!
If you would like to see my first go at this round-up have a look
here :)
I'm in love with Mollie Makes since I read their
Blogging magazine. They have a gorgeous
tutorial up for a denim patchwork quilt on their website which would be a great way for me to use up some of mine and B's old jeans that I've been saving to make something with. Though in Issue 42 I saw an image of a demin rug and so might use the tutorial as a guide to make a rug instead :)
I saw an AMAZING idea for up-cycling a cardigan - a tiny cross stitched Totoro on the breast! But I stupidly didn't save a picture and can't find it anywhere online so instead here is the chart I will use to up-cycle a grey cardigan I already own, found on Pinterest but with no accompanying link. All the more reason to make it soon and show you a picture!
I spotted this on
Knitionary's Facebook page and immediately fell in love. I HAVE to make this come winter time! No excuses! The free pattern can be found on
Ravelry, and I also shared it on
my Facebook page and lots of people agreed with how awesome it is :)
Spotted this on on the
Black Sheep Wools' Facebook page. B loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I harbour a strong fondness for the characters and the show. His favourite is Michaelangelo so I will simply change the blue for orange and that is a great 24th birthday present! Pattern from
Ravelry.
Have you found anything exciting you want to make this week?
I like both the name and the feature! And oh my gosh, love that denim quilt and foxy hat! x
ReplyDeleteI know right! I saw the denim quilt and thought it just looked so welcoming and professional and home made all at the same time! and THAT HAT :D jenny xx
